Booking terms

1. Who we are

Balkania Tours (balkaniatours.com) is operated by NODUS ICT SOLUTIONS d.o.o., Dvadesetsedmog marta 9, 11050 Beograd (Zvezdara), Serbia, PIB 111833822, MB 21549053, email hello@balkaniatours.com ("we", "us"). These terms apply to tours booked on this website and to services quoted by us on request.

2. Prices

Tour prices are shown in euros (EUR) per person or per party, as stated on each tour page, and include what is listed under "What's included". Prices in EUR are for information; payments within Serbia are made in Serbian dinars (RSD). The RSD amount is calculated at the indicative rate shown during booking, and the final amount is stated on the invoice or payment instructions we send.

3. How a booking is made

1. You choose a tour, date, start time and number of guests, and send a booking request with your contact details.
2. The request is not yet a contract and nothing is charged. We check the date with a guide and reply, normally within one working day.
3. When the date is available we send payment instructions. The booking becomes binding when payment is received and we send the final confirmation.

If we cannot run the tour on the requested date, we tell you and suggest alternatives; you are under no obligation to accept them.

4. Payment

Payment is currently made by bank transfer to the account of NODUS ICT SOLUTIONS d.o.o., using the booking reference (BT-…) as the payment reference. Card payment is not yet available. Bank charges on the sender's side are paid by the sender.

5. Changes and cancellation by you

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour start time, in writing to hello@balkaniatours.com; any payment received is refunded in full. For cancellations later than 48 hours before the start, or if no guest arrives at the meeting point, the price is not refunded. Changes of date or group size are possible subject to availability. 6. Changes and cancellation by us

We may cancel a tour for reasons of safety, severe weather or the unavailability of a guide that we could not prevent. In that case we offer a new date or a full refund, at your choice. Minor changes to the order of stops that do not change the character of the tour may be made on the day for practical reasons.

7. Quote-based services

Hotels, car rental, boat trips, tickets and visa support are quoted individually. A quote request is not a booking. Each quote states the price, what is included, the payment terms and the cancellation terms of the provider; those terms apply once you accept the quote.

8. Your responsibilities

Please arrive at the meeting point on time, tell us in advance about dietary requirements or mobility limitations, and carry valid travel documents. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The guide may refuse participation to a guest whose behaviour endangers the group.

9. Liability

We are responsible for providing the tour as described. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by events beyond our control, or for the services of third parties that you book directly with them. We recommend travel insurance; it is not included in our prices.

10. Complaints

If something is not as described, please tell the guide on the day or write to hello@balkaniatours.com as soon as possible. We confirm receipt of a complaint and reply in writing within 8 days, in line with the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of Serbia.

11. Personal data

We process your personal data only to handle your booking or request. See the privacy policy.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. For consumers, this does not remove the protection given by the mandatory rules of the country where they live. Disputes are resolved amicably where possible; otherwise the competent court in Belgrade decides. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution bodies listed by the ministry responsible for trade.
