Cancellation and refunds

Tours

• Up to 48 hours before the start time: free cancellation. Any payment received is refunded in full.
• Less than 48 hours before the start, or no-show: the price is not refunded.
• Changes: a new date or a different number of guests can be arranged subject to availability, at no charge if requested at least 48 hours before the start. If the new total is lower, we refund the difference; if it is higher, we send instructions for the balance.

The 48 hours are counted from the tour's start time on the booked date, Belgrade time.

How to cancel

Write to hello@balkaniatours.com with your booking reference (BT-…). A cancellation is valid from the moment your email arrives; we confirm it in writing.

When we cancel

If we cancel because of severe weather, safety or a guide's unavailability, you choose between a new date and a full refund.

Refunds

• Bank transfers are refunded to the account the payment came from, within 14 days of the cancellation. We cover our own bank's charges; charges of intermediary or receiving banks may apply.
• When card payment is introduced, refunds of card payments are made only to the same card, through the acquiring bank. Depending on the card issuer, the amount may take several working days to appear on your statement.

Quote-based services

For hotels, cars, boats and tickets, the cancellation terms of the provider apply and are stated in each quote before you accept it. Event tickets are usually non-refundable once bought; the quote says so when that is the case.

Right of withdrawal

Under the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of Serbia, the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date. The free cancellation described above is our own, more generous rule.
